Long Range Research Planning Task Group
SCOPE
To develop a five year
plan for NFRC’s research needs for review by the Research
Subcommittee, the Research and Technology Committee and the Board
of Directors. This research plan will consider the following factors:
1) Improving the accuracy of existing procedures, where needed.
2) Making sure all fenestration products can be addressed by NFRC
procedures.
3) Developing procedures for new indices (fading, AEP, comfort,
etc.).
This task group will suggest the scope and priorities of NFRC
research, and develop a process for better incorporating research
results into NFRC’s procedures.
