Steve
Rosenstock Steps Down from NFRC Board of Directors
Former
Board Member Replaced by Roland Temple
GREENBELT,
MD. (November 11, 2008) –
The National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) Board of Directors
announced that Steve Rosenstock resigned from the Board prior
to its meeting in Jacksonville , Fla. on Friday, November 7.
Rosenstock
cited his inability to commit the time required to effectively
fulfill his duties as the reason for his decision. The NFRC Board
acted quickly to replace Rosenstock by appointing Roland Temple
of AZS Consulting, Inc. to fill his seat until the Fall 2009 election.
“We
respect Steve's decision to step down at this time and hope in
the future he may have more time to commit to the organization,”
said NFRC Executive Director Jim Benney. “We are extremely grateful
to the service of our volunteer members and understand that they
have many other responsibilities at their jobs.”
Rosenstock
initially joined the Board as an energy efficiency representative
from the Edison Electric Institute.
Temple
has
more than 20 years of experience in the fenestration industry
and has served on the NFRC Board of Directors as Treasurer, as
past Chair of the Ratings Committee, and current chair of the
Certification Policy Committee.
