NFRC Relocates to Greenbelt, Md.
- NFRC moves from
current SIlver Spring location after five years
- New space offers room for growth; near major roads and
Metro access
Greenbelt, Md., June
28, 2007 – The National Fenestration
Rating Council relocated from its Silver Spring , Md. location
to new office space on June 28. The new office, located in Greenbelt
, Md. , is strategically positioned at the Greenbelt Metro station
and near the Capital Beltway. It is also 30 minutes from both
the downtown Washington and Baltimore areas.
“NFRC
has grown significantly in the past five years – in terms of staff
and program offerings,” said Executive Director Jim Benney. “The
new location will better serve our needs, and still give NFRC
room to grow.”
The
Greenbelt office, located at 6305 Ivy Lane , has several energy
efficient features, including a solar-influenced architectural
design and a computer-controlled energy management system on-site.
