New Acting President at WDMA

Jeffrey F. Lowinski was named as Acting President of the Window & Door Manufacturers Association (WDMA), headquartered in Des Plaines, Ill, following the resignation of Alan J. Campbell. “We thank Al for his efforts while serving our association and wish him well,” said WDMA Board Chairman Chris Simpson.

Lowinski said he is ready to lead the day-to-day operations as the membership pursues its role as an advocate for the fenestration industry.

“The WDMA Board of Directors is confident that Jeff’s nearly three decades of association management experience and industry technical expertise will serve him well in the dual role of leading the administrative aspects of our organization as well as continuing his role as Vice President of Technology Marketing. Working together with our membership, Jeff will continue to help guide the day-to-day activities supporting our strategic direction on behalf of our members,” Simpson said.

“I look forward to the opportunity of leading WDMA’s efforts in providing technical services and administrative support for our membership, to help effectively advance the interests of our industry,” Lowinski said.

WDMA represents over 145 U.S. and Canadian manufacturers and suppliers of windows, doors and skylights for the domestic and export markets. As Acting President of the non-profit trade association, Lowinski will guide staff and members in carrying out the organization’s customer-focused strategic objectives:

  • Leading the advancement of the window, skylight and door industry by promoting the benefits and value of superior performing products.
  • Leading the formulation and promotion of market-place driven standards of performance for the products of the window, skylight and door industry.
  • Improving the conditions under which the industry must operate.
  • Collecting and disseminating pertinent industry data.
