Real-Time Reporting from NFRC’s
Summer Meeting

NFRC is always looking for new and innovative ways to provide its members with the information they want and need. With that in mind, the organization launched an exciting new tool to provide members with meeting news in real time.

For the first time, NFRC hosted a virtual seat at the meeting, posting several updates to NFRC News Now during each day of the summer membership meeting. The NFRC’s Web site provided a link with the dates and times of the latest posts on the “What’s New” and “Meeting Information” pages.

The goal in developing the real-time reporting system was to allow those who were not able to attend the meeting to keep up with all the events as they happened. All of the sessions were summarized and information was posted on the site as soon as the sessions concluded.

NFRC is considering rolling this feature out again in the fall and wants your feedback. We welcome your thoughts on NFRC News Now. Did you find it helpful? Were you able to access the information easily? Did you find everything you needed? Were there enough details?

Let us know. We’d love to hear from you. Please send an e-mail to NFRC’s Communications and Marketing Manager Tom Herron, at therron@nfrc.org, with your feedback.
