NFRC Builds New PCP Team

In its ongoing commitment to provide exceptional value and outstanding service, NFRC has established a new team to run the Product Certification Program (PCP).

Serving as the PCP coordinator is Toni Stroud. Toni manages the day-to-day issues involved with PCP while developing, strengthening, and maintaining relationships with both the manufacturers and consumers.

Toni came to NFRC with a solid background in membership and customer service, including recruiting, consulting and meeting planning. She also has a strong understanding of software and information technology.

Joining NFRC as the PCP Associate is Sherri Wendt. In this position, she will be accountable for the Certification Agency Program and will be the staff liaison for the Certification Policy Committee as well as the Ratings Committee task groups and subcommittees.

Sherri has been involved in the fenestration industry since 2003, working as a project manager for NFRC-accredited lab Architectural Testing, Inc., in St. Paul, Minn. She is also a certified simulator.

NFRC Executive Director Jim Benney believes the formation of the new PCP team will be a major asset for NFRC.

“I’m extremely confident in the abilities of this new team, and I’m looking forward to watching them grow and develop into a driving force for us,” said Benney. “NFRC has organized a strong and knowledgeable group of people that will play a major role in helping us achieve our goals.”

Both Toni and Sherri bring important strengths to the PCP team. Toni brings the energy and ability to streamline PCP’s internal processes while serving as a resource for information to NFRC’s manufacturers and consumers. Sherri’s strength is that she understands the NFRC process and has been through many NFRC inspections. 

As PCP team leader, Scott will ensure the team members have the tools they need to be as productive as possible, to provide daily guidance, and to develop a long-term strategy that will enable the PCP program to evolve in accordance with NFRC’s goals.
