Member of the Year Nominations Being Accepted Through End of August

NFRC is showing its appreciation of dedicated membership again by offering an award to honor one special member. The NFRC Member of the Year Award will recognize the recipient’s talent, achievements, and notable contributions to the fenestration industry that support the NFRC’s mission.
Please take a moment to recognize a member who demonstrates the following characteristics:
- Is a positive advocate for NFRC when addressing code officials, utility companies, governmental agencies, the media, etc.
- Regularly attends NFRC membership meetings and actively engages in critical discussions and decisions
- Exhibits respect for all members, genuinely embracing the philosophy of a consensus process
“Last year’s award was presented to Roland Temple, who exemplifies the NFRC’s mission through his hard work and dedication,” said Executive Director Jim Benney. “We are looking forward to bringing another of our many dedicated volunteers into the spotlight.”
The recipient will receive the NFRC Crystal Star and a NFRC meeting registration waiver that can be used in the 2010 calendar year.
The winner will be announced at the Fall Membership Meeting in November. “We hope many of our members participate in the nomination process for the 2009 NFRC Member of Year Award,” said Melanie Miller, NFRC’s interim membership manager. “With so many committed volunteers, there should never be a shortage of nominees.”
