A New Way to Motion

One of the most recognizable items on display during any given NFRC subcommittee meeting is the pink motion form. This is the platform that NFRC members use to formalize a motion for vote on the floor. That piece of paper also signifies work for members.

In an effort to streamline the motion process, NFRC will be trying something new in Jacksonville. Rather than using the traditional pink motion form, staff will work directly with meeting attendees to type motions as they are spoken. Also, NFRC will display the motion on the screens for all to see.

As with any new process, it may require some time to adjust. The staff appreciates your patience and cooperation in bringing this new efficient system to the Fall Meeting. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact the meetings staff directly on site or after the meeting.
