Dr. Ross McCluney Gives Insider the Scoop on Attachment History
In the February issue of NFRC Insider, NFRC put the “Spotlight” on the Attachment Subcommittee. Following its distribution, NFRC member Dr. Ross McCluney provided some insight into the history of attachments and NFRC.
According to Dr. McCluney, an earlier incarnation of the subcommittee resulted in a list of reference glazing systems to which attached products were to be attached for rating purposes. With that guidance, performance enhancements would clearly be shown to depend on the product to which they attached.
Thanks Ross! We’ll visit the archives.
