Like all NFRC meetings, our recent meeting in Chicago was both busy and productive. We moved forward on a number of important fronts, from attachment ratings for some of the new products that have joined our ranks to the CMAST software that will provide so many benefits to the nonresidential segment of the industry. In 2009, NFRC will celebrate its 20th anniversary, so now is a good time to look back and see how our industry has changed. It is amazing to think of all the technological adaptations that have been implemented just over the last two decades. More than 60% of all windows in new construction are now considered “high performance.” More |
