At the NFRC’s Fall Membership Meeting in San Antonio

NFRC holds three membership meetings per year — Spring, Summer, and Fall — where select task groups, as well as the organization’s subcommittees and committees, convene to debate and move forward important issues relating to the energy ratings of the fenestration industry.

NFRC will host its 2009 Fall Membership Meeting November 16-19, 2009, in San Antonio, at the Sheraton Gunter Hotel. The meeting hotel is only steps away from San Antonio’s famous River Walk – teeming with night-life that is sure to draw attendees after a busy day of task group, subcommittee, and committee meetings!

The San Antonio Convention and Visitors Bureau encourages visitors to take “a journey through a land as grand as its reputation.” Its Web site offers a range of activities that appeal to a variety of interests, such as:

• Touring the Alamo.
• Enjoying renowned shops and restaurants.
• Golfing in the Hill Country.
• Visiting theme parks.

The downtown hotel is less than 20 minutes from San Antonio International Airport. Ground transportation information can be found on the airport’s Web site.

Early bird registration is currently available; forms are available for download from the NFRC’s Upcoming Meetings Web page. The registration deadline is November 2.

Online registration, a meeting schedule, and detailed agendas will be available in late September into October. If you want to get a jump on the process, the Sheraton is currently accepting registrations at (888) 999-2089. When making your reservation, be sure to mention the NFRC room block to receive the discounted rate of $149 per night. Rooms at the hotel are limited; please don’t delay.
